UNCOMMON FRIEND , RUSSIA.

Boko Haram: WHO IS OUR TRUE FRIEND, Russia or United State Of America? Following the refusal of the United States of America to supply Nigeria it’s much needed arms in the fight against Boko Haram, Russia has come to the rescue of my beloved Country.Historically, Russia supplied arms to Nigeria government during three years civil warbetween 1967-70, this is the second time that the Russian Federation would be supplying arms and ammunition that is helping to turn the tide of war against the Boko Haram terrorists in the north-eastern part of the country. The reluctance of America to supply arms (our socalled friend) to counter-terrorism and counter- insurgency efforts, saw the government turn to Russia for assistance. Sources within the security circle Concerning the botched $15m arms deal, which exposed America’s hypocrisy, forced my Country to look for alternative sources of arms supply hence, the result of the outcome of deal allowed Nigeria to acquire the right kinds of armo...

IS MY COUNTRY "NIGERIA" MOVING FORWARD ECONOMICALLY?

Due to improved performance of the key non-oil sectors in Nigeria, – agriculture, information and communication technology, trade and services – exclusion of contribution from the oil sectors brings about positive outlook in 2014/15. Social indicators are beginning to improve and intensified through the implementation of social-sector reforms, the exports of primary products, which is the cornerstone of the Agricultural Transformation agenda is helping the Country climb up the value chain towards industrialisation and provide opportunities to bring the large informal sector progressively into the formal economy, thereby making growth more inclusive and offering a high potential for job creation, increased income and poverty reduction. Nigeria GDP from 1990 to 2012 showed 89% increase in the estimated size of the economy. As a result, the country now boasts of having the largest economy in Africa with an estimated nominal GDP of USD 510 billion, surpassing South Africa’s USD 352 billi...

Angola seeks to be Africa's top oil power !

Angola is driving to become Africa's leading oil producer and that's expected to gain momentum after its president since 1979, the autocratic onetime jungle fighter Jose Eduardo dos Santos, won another five years in office. More than one-third of Angola's 21 million people live below the poverty line and the disparity between rich and poor is widening, despite the country's oil wealth and the prospect of that swelling on the back of recent deep-water discoveries offshore that are expected to elevate Angola to Africa's top oil producer. Right now, with a production level of 1.8 million barrels per day, it trails Nigeria, the continent's top producer with an output of 2.5 million bpd, with the new offshore discoveries in the Kwanza Basin, containing at least 1.5 billion barrels, and Nigeria's ( my Country) oil industry in turmoil, Luanda expects to double output to 3.5 million bpd, on a par with Canada, by 2020. major international oil companies seek to s...

ALCKOHOLISM THE SILENCE KILLER IN RUSSIA!!

when a drunk driver doing nearly 200 km per hour ploughs into a group of teenagers on the sidewalk – what do you called that?......People have been discussing these issues , I don’t know you opinion  – one woman said- “It’s like you shouldn’t even have children!” another said-- “What’s the point? You let them out of the house - and some drunk bastard goes and does something like that!” The other woman pointed out that these children lived in state care facilities, and were returning from an arts competition, where they had won first prize. “That makes it even worse!” The first woman said. “First these kids are abandoned, then they work to make something of their lives, and someone comes along and ends it all, these damn drunks are everywhere.” I was particularly struck by the story of these kids,  why should someone be mad my alcoholism just as most Russian’s, not staying in his house but decided to drink more for two days straight, and then get behind the wheel. Oh my ...
